These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website lumidermscience.com (the "Website") and any skincare consultation services provided by LumiDerm Science, a skincare clinic located at Unit 14, Ardkeen Retail Park, Dunmore Road, Waterford, X91 A2K4, Ireland (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Website or our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website or our services.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Our Services

LumiDerm Science provides professional skin analysis and personalised skincare consultations in Waterford, Ireland. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Advice on evidence-based skincare products and routines;
Follow-up support and progress reviews.

All services are provided for informational and advisory purposes only. Consultations and advice provided by LumiDerm Science do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and must not be used as a substitute for consultation with a qualified medical practitioner or dermatologist. If you have a medical skin condition, we strongly advise that you consult your GP or a dermatologist before acting on any recommendations provided by us.

3. Eligibility and Client Responsibilities

To use our consultation services, you must be at least 18 years of age. By booking a consultation, you confirm that you are of legal age and capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are booking on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and consent to the service on their behalf.

You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information regarding your skin history, medical history, allergies, current skincare products and medications where relevant. LumiDerm Science shall not be liable for any adverse outcome arising from incomplete, inaccurate or withheld information provided by you.

4. Bookings, Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Bookings

Consultation appointments may be booked via our Website, by telephone or by email. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of our confirmation. Appointment times are subject to availability.

4.2 Cancellations and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment by providing at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend an appointment, may result in forfeiture of any deposit or prepayment made.

4.3 Refunds

Where a service has been paid in advance and cancelled in accordance with Section 4.2, a full refund will be issued within 14 days to the original payment method. Statutory consumer rights under the European Union (Consumer Rights) Regulations 2013 and, where applicable, the Consumer Rights Act 2022 are not affected by these Terms.

5. Products and Recommendations

Where we recommend or supply third-party skincare products, such recommendations are based on the information you provide and our professional assessment. Results may vary between individuals, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome from the use of any recommended product. We strongly recommend patch testing all products before full use, particularly if you have sensitive skin or a history of allergic reactions.

All product names, trademarks and brands mentioned are the property of their respective owners.

6. Website Use and Acceptable Conduct

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Use the Website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or connected systems;

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

LumiDerm Science is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. Any personal data you provide through the Website or during consultations will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
