Bookings & Appointments
How do I book a consultation?
You can book by phone at +353 21 775 7994, by emailing [email protected], or by using the form on our contact page. We'll confirm your appointment and send preparation tips within one working day.
How long does a consultation take?
A standard first consultation takes around 45 minutes, including a full skin analysis. Follow-up reviews usually take 20-30 minutes.
Do I need to prepare anything before my visit?
Arrive with clean skin free of makeup if possible, and bring a list of products you currently use along with any medications that may affect your skin. This helps us build the most accurate picture of your skin health.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes, simply contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we'll gladly arrange a new time. This allows us to offer the slot to another client.
Skin Analysis & Treatments
What happens during a skin analysis?
Our specialist uses a digital diagnostic tool to assess hydration, texture, pigmentation and pore condition. We then review your skin history and concerns before building a personalised routine with recommended products and treatment steps.
Is the analysis suitable for all skin types and tones?
Yes. Our diagnostic equipment and consultation protocols are calibrated for a full range of skin tones and types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
How soon will I see results from a new routine?
Many clients notice improved hydration and texture within two weeks. Concerns such as pigmentation or fine lines generally require 4-8 weeks of consistent use before visible change occurs.
Can you help with a specific condition like rosacea or acne?
We provide supportive skincare advice for many common concerns, but we are not a medical clinic. Where a condition requires diagnosis or prescription treatment, we'll refer you to a dermatologist or your GP and can complement their plan with a compatible routine.
Products & Aftercare
Are the products you recommend suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, our recommended formulations are free from common irritants such as parabens and synthetic fragrances. We always advise patch testing any new product before full use.
Do you test on animals?
No. LumiDerm Science only recommends cruelty-free brands, relying on in-vitro testing and clinical panels with consenting volunteers.
Can I combine your advice with prescription treatments?
Many products pair safely with prescriptions such as retinoids, but we recommend checking with your dermatologist first. We can help you build a routine that works alongside your prescribed treatment.
Do you offer follow-up support after my consultation?
Yes. Every consultation includes follow-up guidance, and we offer review appointments so we can adjust your routine as your skin responds and as seasons change.
What is your return policy on recommended products?
Products purchased through our clinic can be returned within 60 days if you're not satisfied with your results, even if partially used. See our terms page for full details.
Getting the Most From Your Consultation
Track Your Progress
Take photos of your skin in consistent, natural light every two weeks. Comparing these images over time gives a far more reliable picture than daily mirror checks.
Keep a Product Diary
Note any new products, reactions or lifestyle changes between visits. Patterns in your diary often reveal triggers for sensitivity or breakouts more quickly.
Be Consistent
Skincare results come from routine, not intensity. Using the right products consistently for 6-8 weeks is more effective than constantly switching regimens.
